Position Summary:
The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the training and management of clinical personnel, including Medical Assistants and support staff. This role involves managing inventory and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints regarding expenditures.

Key responsibilities include maintaining consistent office coverage by developing staff schedules, addressing time-off requests, and stepping in as needed. Additionally, the manager will ensure the accuracy of payroll and collaborate closely with the Practice Manager on operational workflows and compliance audits. Participation in meetings with healthcare providers and administrative leadership is also required.

Qualifications:

Educational Background and Experience:
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.

A minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare office environment is preferred, although other relevant healthcare experience may be considered.

Prior experience in a supervisory capacity is highly desirable.

Licensure and Certification:
Certification from an accredited medical assistant training program is preferred.

CPR certification must be obtained within three months of employment.

Patient Demographics:
Experience in providing care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations is essential.

Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Outlook.
Familiarity with Meditech and Epic systems is advantageous.
Ability to utilize performance management and learning systems effectively.
Strong computer skills and technical aptitude are necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions when necessary.

Demonstrated ability to interact professionally and courteously with colleagues, patients, and the public is crucial.

Flexibility, integrity, and teamwork are essential attributes.
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions is required.

Additional Requirements:

Capability to perform, instruct, and supervise various clinical procedures, including venipuncture, EKGs, and CPR, among others.

Proficiency in using office equipment such as telephones, fax machines, copiers, and computers, as well as medical devices as required by the role.

Efficient time management skills are necessary.
Awareness of budgetary considerations and active participation in cost-control measures are expected.
Effective utilization of resources to meet deadlines and improve performance is essential.
Regular monitoring of supply levels, maintenance of clinical equipment, and weekly ordering of necessary supplies are part of the role.
Demonstrated understanding of operational policies and procedures is required.
