As a key member of our property management team, the Property Management Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Property Manager in various operational aspects of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the property in the absence of the Property Manager, ensuring smooth operations.
- Handle all financial transactions related to the community, including daily bank deposits.
- Conduct property tours and process applications for potential residents.
- Coordinate all aspects of resident move-ins and move-outs efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident files, ensuring accurate documentation of income, credit reports, and assets.
- Initiate and manage the lease renewal process, submitting completed packets for Property Manager approval.
- Process maintenance requests promptly to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Foster positive resident relations and actively engage in community activities.
- Prepare weekly reports on traffic and lease renewals.
- Keep marketing materials and online listings current and appealing.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiency.
- Undertake special projects as assigned by the Property Manager or Regional Property Manager.
- Perform outreach marketing as directed, following up on rental inquiries.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks as instructed.
- Execute additional duties as required.
