Job Description:

As a Field Sales Executive at SEKO Logistics, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing customer relationships within the logistics and transportation industry.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in logistics and transportation to provide innovative solutions to customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Develop and execute sales strategies to close deals and achieve sales targets, utilizing your negotiation skills to secure contracts and agreements.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the logistics and transportation industry.
  • Proposal Development: Create and present proposals to customers, highlighting the value proposition of SEKO Logistics' services and solutions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business development efforts.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer service.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of logistics and transportation industry dynamics, including market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business principles, including financial management, market analysis, and customer relationship management.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in sales and marketing software and tools.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum Requirements: High School Degree or GED, with 3 years' experience in sales, logistics, or transportation, and a proven track record of prospecting and closing sales.
  • Preferred Requirements: Sales or industry experience, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations.
