Qualifications

Position Summary

As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and logistics providers to facilitate sales processes for steel and other commodities. You will work in conjunction with Sales Representatives and Managers to ensure efficient sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

A. Internal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and process sales orders effectively
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and monitor inventory levels
  • Handle documentation related to claims and billing
  • Assist in generating sales forecasts
  • Create reports and maintain data accuracy in Excel and ERP systems
  • Support Sales Representatives and Managers with various operational tasks
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively

B. External Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee import documentation and shipping logistics
  • Communicate with customs brokers and suppliers
  • Follow up on payment processes and shipment tracking
  • Reconcile inventory records in warehouses
  • Engage in special projects as assigned

Secondary Administrative Responsibilities

  • Operate office equipment efficiently
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Perform additional job-related duties as required
