If yes, ActionLink is seeking a dedicated 'Tech Whisperer' to enhance our technical support operations within the Sony Account Division. Elevate your career with a global leader in technological advancements.

The Full-Time Audiovisual Customer Support Specialist will deliver both sales and technical assistance to dealers and sales representatives in the audio-visual custom installation sector, while also providing expert training on Sony's range of audio-visual products, including televisions, home theater systems, projectors, and media players.

What We Provide

  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Work Setting: A hybrid role - remote work on Mondays and Fridays, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday.
  • Compensation: The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.00 to $26.00, based on experience.
  • Employment Type: W-2 employment with biweekly pay and direct deposit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical troubleshooting support for the CEDIA Custom Integration Channel.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone and email from dealers and customers.
  • Manage technical escalations from dealers, installers, and customers.
  • Act as a customer advocate throughout the service process to ensure an exceptional experience.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the service process.
  • Track and report on activities and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in a call center or relevant customer service role.
  • At least 2 years of experience with consumer electronics.
  • Preferred experience in A/V installation or custom home integration.
  • Knowledge of Control 4, Crestron, Savant, or other professional control systems is a plus.
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making in resolving escalated customer issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable learning various new software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Physical Requirements

  • A quiet home office space with reliable internet access.
  • Ability to use a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
  • Capable of sitting or standing for extended periods.
  • Must possess a smartphone with internet access/data plan.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance.
