Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory of supplies and materials, ensuring that they are properly stored, tracked, and distributed to meet the needs of our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily inventory of supplies and materials, including receiving, storing, and issuing items as needed.
  • Develop and implement inventory management systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of inventory.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and vendors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in inventory management, making recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
