Position Overview

This role is a long-term hybrid position for an experienced Business Financial Analyst specializing in defense financial systems. The successful candidate will engage in daily operations that require in-depth knowledge of DOD financial frameworks.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Security Clearance: An active DOD secret clearance is mandatory.
  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required; a Master's degree is highly desirable.
  • Experience: A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in line with the job responsibilities.
  • Skills: Strong analytical capabilities and adept problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on collaboration.
  • Project Management: Proven experience as a Developer and Project Manager for DOD facilities management systems.
  • Resource Management: Ability to understand resource management functions for extensive shore infrastructure and facilities management.
  • Resource Allocation: Experience in managing and implementing a Resource Allocation Plan for a global organization.
  • Data Management: Familiarity with data migration and structures related to historical DOD General Ledger and financial feeder systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, advise, and document software functionalities to align with DOD missions and financial reporting requirements.
  • Identify and document system and business process deficiencies, including Courses of Action and Plans of Action for DOD financial systems consolidation.
  • Inform financial leadership regarding execution and challenges associated with financial reporting.
  • Generate financial reports related to the execution of Supervision, Inspection, and Overhead on major construction programs.
  • Support the transition of financial data from legacy systems to DOD ERP in alignment with strategic consolidation initiatives.
  • Develop and communicate resource and performance metrics for supervision and overhead functions in military construction projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, PMP, or similar credentials.
