POSITION SUMMARY:

The Ladders is seeking a dedicated Financial Project Analyst to assist in the management of various projects, including budget development, cost estimation, milestone tracking, deliverables management, and proposal preparation.


Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Formulate project plans and financial budgets.
  • Generate cost estimates, status updates, and budget forecasts.
  • Gather data and conduct financial and research analysis.
  • Prepare responses to project and program inquiries.
  • Monitor project activities, timelines, issues, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Assist in conducting project and risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure awareness of necessary project-related deliverables for timely data input and submission.
  • Engage in meetings.
  • Document and distribute project and/or client meeting minutes.
  • Draft and send project-related communications.
  • Track project metrics and provide data and analysis to the project manager.
  • Mentor junior analysts on project-related tasks.
  • Review the work of junior staff.
  • May provide technical and management scheduling support for projects.
  • Ensure project documentation and files are maintained in accordance with quality management standards.
  • Support configuration management of project spreadsheets and relevant files.
  • May be responsible for evaluating junior staff performance, assisting in recruitment, training, and development, and leading specific tasks assigned to junior personnel.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in financial analysis, funding, expense tracking, and labor hour management.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in Contract Management, including:
o Development of program acquisition documentation

o Data collection and analysis

o Creation of cost estimates

o Development of program status reports.

  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense (DoD) procurement policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated understanding of general accounting and business processes to effectively manage budgets.
