Position Title: Operations Manager

Role Overview:
Advatix, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to enhance our expanding team. This role involves orchestrating and executing client-oriented projects, ensuring that all assigned initiatives are carried out efficiently and effectively while delivering outstanding service to our clientele. The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling them to relay timely and clear information across various cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grasp the intricacies of personnel, processes, and technology within Supply Chain & Logistics.
  • Address challenges related to transportation, logistics frameworks, imports and exports, and customer inquiries.
  • Assess operational performance and devise strategies to enhance team culture, implement effective processes, and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with clients, demonstrating a customer-first approach to elevate associate safety, operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work alongside client leadership to facilitate change and achieve results.
  • Exhibit strong listening and observational skills, comfortably communicating across all levels of a client's organizational structure to convey intent, requirements, process updates, and outcomes.
  • Utilize appropriate tools to monitor and evaluate operational processes, gathering data to inform recommendations and decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel to meet the needs of clients at their locations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in distribution, with at least five years in a supervisory capacity within warehousing.
  • Demonstrated excellence in Operational Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience with project-related technologies.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Experience with ERP system transitions (SXe/CSD implementation).
  • Team-oriented, innovative, highly motivated, and self-driven.
  • Outstanding analytical, project management, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in a LEAN environment; Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
  • Availability for travel 70-80% of the time.
