We are currently in search of a meticulous Logistics and Supply Chain Operations Manager. This essential position will be responsible for managing all facets of order fulfillment, warehouse management, inventory oversight, shipping logistics, and coordination of logistics operations. The Logistics and Supply Chain Operations Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising daily order fulfillment processes, including order entry, picking, packing, and shipping logistics.
  • Collaborating with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and leveraging their warehouse management systems (WMS) to enhance warehouse and fulfillment efficiency.
  • Overseeing inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely product delivery and minimize inventory loss.
  • Creating and executing a production control and planning system designed to meet or exceed customer expectations while balancing workforce and equipment needs.
  • Managing the receipt, distribution, and inventory control of materials to guarantee timely delivery of customer orders while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Ensuring accurate planning parameters and transaction protocols are applied in order execution systems to maintain proper order generation and inventory accuracy.
  • Establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management, logistics operations, and order fulfillment to achieve operational objectives.
  • Enhancing procurement and vendor management strategies to improve lead times and operational performance.
  • Leading a diverse team of production supervisors and warehouse staff.
  • Implementing production planning strategies to maximize manufacturing efficiency, reduce lead times, and ensure sufficient inventory levels.
  • Coordinating with production teams to schedule manufacturing runs based on demand forecasts and inventory availability, ensuring timely access to raw materials and components.
  • Providing weekly reports on various fulfillment and performance KPIs, delivering data-driven insights to senior management to enhance order fulfillment SLAs and vendor performance.
  • Supporting initiatives to achieve certifications (such as ISO) for quality in production, installation, and customer service, including understanding the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and project management capabilities.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent business communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A strong focus on customer service.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
