Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the management team to enhance and optimize accounting procedures.
  • Participate in internal and external audit engagements and exams.
  • Assist with the analysis of financial data and preparation of financial reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Banking industry experience and familiarity with banking regulatory reports preferred.
  • Understanding of loan accounting and related functions preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
Working Environment

The successful candidate will work in a climate-controlled office environment with regular attendance and punctuality required. The ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner, and facsimile is necessary.

Physical Demands

The job requires constant use of computer screens, reading of reports, and sitting throughout the day. Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs is required.
