Position Overview:

The Prospect Development Specialist plays a crucial role within the Prospect Development team, facilitating the management of potential donors for the University of Colorado. This role is integral to the advancement operations across the CU System, which encompasses multiple campuses and the CU Foundation. The specialist will develop a thorough understanding of fundraising metrics and best practices, enhancing the University's prospect management program and collaborating with various advancement teams to maximize fundraising effectiveness through data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with development officers, providing support for their prospect management needs.
  • Data Management: Ensure the integrity and optimization of data related to donor cultivation and fundraising performance metrics.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and report on development officer performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Serve as a subject matter expert in prospect management, providing training and support to end users.
  • Project Management: Participate in agile project management practices, contributing to the successful execution of initiatives.

Work Environment:

This position adopts a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility in remote work while requiring occasional in-office attendance for collaborative sessions and team meetings.

Qualifications:
