Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate and Foundation Giving Manager to join our team at AARP. This role will be responsible for managing the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors and prospective donors assigned within their respective donor/prospect pool or fundraising channel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with corporate and foundation partners to secure funding and support for AARP's mission.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and prospective donors.
  • Manage the fundraising process, including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, systems/processing, and stewardship.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of fundraising strategies.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in fundraising, preferably in corporate and foundation relations.
  • Strong ability to manage all aspects of the fundraising process, including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, processing, and stewardship.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
