Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Hiring:
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent who align with our core values.
    • Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
    • Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and develop plans to meet them.
  • Onboarding and Training:
    • Design and oversee a comprehensive onboarding process that integrates new hires into our firm's culture.
    • Develop training programs that support employee growth and development, aligning with their strengths and interests.
    • Conduct orientation sessions that reflect our commitment to honesty, quality, and dedication.
  • HR Policies and Compliance:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies that align with our values and comply with legal standards.
    • Regularly update employee handbooks and ensure that all policies reflect our commitment to honesty and a quality workplace experience.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Act as the primary contact for employee relations, fostering a supportive and caring environment.
    • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, ensuring that all interactions are handled with honesty and dedication.
    • Promote a positive work environment that aligns with our value of quality experience.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration:
    • Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, ensuring that employees are compensated fairly.
    • Manage employee benefits programs, including negotiations to provide competitive offerings that reflect our dedication to our team.
  • Performance Management:
    • Implement performance evaluation systems that promote growth and align with our core values.
    • Provide coaching and support to managers, ensuring that performance reviews are conducted with honesty and dedication.
    • Address performance issues constructively, helping employees move into their strengths.
  • HR Strategy and Planning:
    • Collaborate with management to develop HR strategies that support our firm's growth while staying true to our core values.
    • Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion within our team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HR software and payroll systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
