This position demands a detail-oriented professional with exceptional organizational and communication abilities to oversee daily HR activities and ensure an effective HR workflow. The perfect candidate will possess a genuine enthusiasm for supporting others, a robust work ethic, and the capability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving setting.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR or administrative capacity is preferred.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems, including applicant tracking systems and HRIS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
- Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent.
Key Duties: (This role is not intended to be exhaustive. As the HR Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department and ensuring the seamless operation of various HR functions):
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including posting job vacancies, reviewing applications, and coordinating interviews.
- Facilitate new employee onboarding processes, including preparing necessary documentation and leading orientation sessions.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity within HRIS systems.
- Support benefits administration tasks, including enrollment, modifications, and terminations.
- Assist with talent management initiatives, such as performance evaluations and employee development programs.
- Coordinate affirmative action planning activities to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Support change management initiatives related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provide administrative assistance for various HR projects, including data entry, report generation, and document preparation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives and projects.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to all Human Resources inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Track and follow up on Disciplinary Action forms submitted by Operations Management.
- Handle Verification of Employment Requests and assist with EDD claims forms and Benefit Audits.
- Address employee inquiries related to Attendance Point balances.
- Ensure compliance with personnel file regulations.
- Assist with employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
