Position Overview The Brand Sales Support Associates play a vital role in assisting customers with product choices, executing merchandise standards, and maintaining attractive selling floor displays for the brands they represent. As product specialists funded by our vendors, they uphold our customer-readiness standards by providing memorable shopping experiences and ensuring a tidy, organized retail environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction above all else.
  • Utilize product expertise to enhance sales by guiding customers in making informed decisions.
  • Aid in maintaining and organizing the selling floor, ensuring a full range of sizes, colors, and styles are accessible.
  • Promote events and merchandise assortments to ensure optimal selling floor presentation.
  • Keep fitting rooms ready for customers by promptly clearing brand-specific items and returning them to the selling floor.
  • Exhibit a friendly and helpful demeanor to enhance the customer experience.
  • Strive to exceed departmental goals by implementing Macy's initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Maintain open communication with vendors, Customer Experience Managers, Omni Operations Managers, and Style Merchandise Managers to support sales and promotional events.
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols.
  • Complete additional customer-facing tasks as required.
  • Demonstrate regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Required Competencies
  • No specific educational qualifications are necessary.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Strong merchandising skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for interacting with customers, peers, and management.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Proficient in using a calculator.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Team collaboration skills.
  • Energetic and positive attitude, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Vision and creativity.
  • Flexible scheduling availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to reach and use hands and arms continuously.
  • This role involves substantial bending, lifting, standing, and walking.
  • Requires close vision and color perception.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move at least 30 lbs.
