Position Overview

We are seeking dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic Retail Shop Associates to become part of the Equinox team at our state-of-the-art location. This role is ideal for candidates looking to make a significant impact within a growing and vibrant organization.

The Shop Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience to all visitors. This role involves taking direction from the Shop Manager on business strategies and action plans to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to all company policies and procedures. The Shop Associate also aids in the timely and accurate completion of operational tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALES & SERVICE:

• Achieve assigned monthly sales targets (individual contribution to overall store goal)

• Ensure an unmatched customer experience for all visitors

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all club and Shop services, programs, and products

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE:

• Understand and uphold all loss prevention and inventory management policies consistently

• Ensure personal understanding of all communication and training materials, assisting the Shop Manager with timely and accurate completion of all operational tasks

PRODUCT & PRESENTATION:

• Assist the Shop Manager in ensuring that the Shop reflects the company brand standards, including execution of merchandising and marketing direction, and adherence to the Shop dress code

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization on sales floors, at cash wraps, and in stockrooms

PROFESSIONAL DIMENSION:

• Build effective relationships and partnerships with colleagues, supervisors, and clients

• Maintain awareness of happenings and general standards in other departments to foster camaraderie and team spirit

• Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures; embrace and support company initiatives

• Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels with tact and diplomacy

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Ability to take direction

• Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in retail

• Hardworking and diligent, demonstrating honesty and integrity

• Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to adopt new techniques and ideas

• Availability to work a varied schedule based on the needs of our unique retail business

Essential Physical Requirements:

Standing, sitting, and walking

Squatting, bending, and reaching
