We are currently looking for a full-time Patient Care Coordinator - Phlebotomy Specialist to join our expanding team. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule during daytime hours, with occasional weekend or holiday shifts.

Compensation: Up to $21 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

The Patient Care Coordinator - Phlebotomy Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Performing a high volume of blood draws and maintaining supplies for the phlebotomy stations.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely submission of lab specimens to designated laboratories.
  • Documenting patient care services through daily logs and electronic records.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients throughout their experience.
  • Managing appointment scheduling and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Facilitating patient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Handling prescription refills and pre-authorizations for medications.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Completion of formal Medical Assistant education and certification.
  • Proficient phlebotomy skills.
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes, medical terminology, and billing practices.
  • Experience in women's health and familiarity with fertility or IVF procedures is preferred.
  • A patient-centered approach and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent customer service abilities.
