Account Manager

Setpoint Systems Corporation is a leader in building automation systems. We are a highly respected and awarded company specializing in innovative solutions for building owners and operators. We are growing rapidly and seeking a driven and competitive Account Manager to join our sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pursue new, retrofit, and upgrade/expand building automation/system integration projects through assigned mechanical contractors and consulting engineers.
  • Develop relationships with prospective contractors and consulting engineers to drive sales growth.
  • Prepare all proposals and bids, following Setpoint Systems processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform contract negotiations in consultation with other departments using creative and persuasive methods to develop appealing and competitive bids.
  • Maintain regular contact with newly added and existing contractors, consultants, and end-users to build relationships that lead to sales.
Requirements:
  • BA or BS in Business, Engineering, or related field strongly encouraged.
  • 2+ years of experience in building control systems.
  • Working knowledge of DDC, electric, and pneumatic control systems.
  • Analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
