Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team at Electronics Row. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for assisting in the monthly general ledger close, balance sheet and income statement variance analysis, cost center expense monthly analysis, and maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process journal entries for month-end close, including subledger to ledger reconciliations.
  • Analyze account reconciliations for all assets, liability, and capital accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to the monthly close schedule.
  • Assist in documentation and monitoring of accounts and inventory control.
  • Prepare cost center expense variance analysis and account reconciliations.
  • Manage sales and use tax, multi-state.
  • Assist in preparing supporting schedules for external auditors and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Assist with funding instructions and funding methods and special projects as they arise.
  • Assist in annual planning, cash flow, and forecasting.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for several US bank accounts and credit cards.
  • Monitor accounts.
  • Manage bank wire experience.
  • Manage monthly external and internal reporting and analysis processes in support of operations, budgeting, and business assessments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of BS in Accounting (MS preferred).
  • 4-5 years of related experience, minimum.
  • Basic knowledge of US GAAP with direct experience applying accounting procedures and policies.
  • Basic knowledge of financial statements, period close activities, creating journal entries, and preparing account reconciliations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet.
  • Strong QuickBooks experience a must.
