About the Role:

As a Business Development Representative II at UKG, you will play a pivotal role in growing our net-new sales pipeline. Your primary focus will be on identifying, developing, and creating new business opportunities for our Field Sales Executives.

You will leverage your strong prospecting and business development skills to generate incremental revenue opportunities through outbound calling and lead generation. Your knowledge of UKG products and solutions will enable you to enhance the client's or prospect's interest in our offerings and communicate the value of our solutions to further assist the sales cycle.

You will partner with our field sales team to promote UKG's business initiatives and enhance the customer or prospect's knowledge of our products, programs, and services. Your expert probing skills will help expand contacts or define new product requirements within a prospect and/or customer, while increasing revenue and teaming with field sales.

You will maintain expected metrics of outbound calls and targeted emails to increase the number of live conversations per day. You will also provide qualified lead information to the field sales organization to assist in account progression or sales pipeline acceleration.

Basic Qualifications:
  • One-year professional experience in a BDR/SDR/Sales/Prospecting type role or a college degree in sales with 6 months+ BDR/SDR/Sales/Prospecting experience
  • Able to work in an assigned UKG office two days a week (based on territory)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to be successful in prospecting and book 7+ meetings per month
  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to varying audiences
  • Knowledge of the enterprise software industry, specifically HCM or Workforce Management
  • Familiar or certified in a common sales methodology (e.g. Sandler, Holden, AAISP etc.)
