Job Overview

Vertin Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director to lead our funeral and cemetery operations within an assigned region. This role is a critical part of our team, responsible for overseeing and continuously improving day-to-day operations to optimize customer value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee and improve the day-to-day operations of funeral and cemetery services, ensuring high-quality customer experiences and meeting financial goals.
  • Leadership and Management: Manage employee performance, hold staff accountable for metrics and performance goals, and ensure timely feedback and addressing performance problems.
  • Business Development: Identify marketable opportunities, implement the Vertin Business System, and meet or exceed established operational budget.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure continuous improvement of customer satisfaction and positive benefits to local families through programs and services that meet customer expectations.
  • Communication and Presentation: Communicate and present information to influence behavior, stimulate innovation, promote best practices, and drive organizational change.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 7-10 years of experience in previous leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in managing teams and achieving common company goals.
  • Education and Skills: Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent, plus five or more years related experience and/or training within a professional setting, with direct oversight/management of others required.
  • Travel and Work Environment: Valid driver's license, 75% travel required, and a strong understanding of financial management, analysis, and reporting.
