As a member of our Finance & Accounting division, your primary duties will involve the preparation of journal entries associated with Natural Gas, Electricity, and Catalyst operations. This role encompasses the generation of monthly financial statements, performance evaluations, tracking of capital projects, and tax-related activities. Effective communication with cross-functional teams is crucial for achieving success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Natural Gas Financial Management: Prepare and analyze journal entries related to natural gas costs.
  • Electricity Financial Oversight: Manage journal entries and conduct cost analysis for electricity.
  • Catalyst Financial Reporting: Prepare accounting entries and report associated costs.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile inventory of finished goods and assist in asset closure processes.
  • Control Compliance: Develop and uphold processes to satisfy internal control requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Must obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC).
