Job Summary

As a key member of the Tulane University Staff team, the Systems Specialist I, Accounting Systems will play a vital role in supporting the operational activities of the TAMS General Ledger. This includes maintaining the Chart of Accounts and its related attributes, rules, and aliases. The successful candidate will also be responsible for all aspects of TAMS General Ledger user security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain TAMS on-line forms and web pages
  • Assist with development of Data Store reports, particularly in the area of user security
  • Support reconciliation between TAMS General Ledger and other systems, creating journal entries as necessary
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with university accounting requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three years' general accounting experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three years' Oracle Applications experience
