As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for coaching, training, and developing our sales team within assigned territories. Your primary focus will be on assisting in day-to-day operations and sales routes as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work with and coach/train all new salespeople to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
* Conduct scheduled work withs to continue the growth of our sales team.
* Assist in Point-of-Sale deployment and ensure that all accounts meet Gulf Distributing standards.
* Provide feedback to employees to assist in their overall growth and development.
* Provide feedback to management regarding training progress for all routes.
* Sell and cover open sales routes as needed.
* Properly merchandise and sell all accounts to meet Gulf Distributing standards.
* Lead, attend, and conduct store resets throughout the year, all classes of trade.
* Work with management to continue learning all aspects of the business.
* Be aware of opportunities to grow sales in all accounts.
* Ensure Point of Sale is properly utilized in all accounts.
* Adhere to GDH company policies, while always acting in a professional manner.
* Maintain positive working relationships with personnel in all accounts and Gulf Distributing.
* Report all accidents to immediate supervisor, immediately.

Requirements:

* 5 years of sales experience preferred
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare presentations
* Demonstrated organizational skills
* Ability to work around the schedule set forth by the demand of the business
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Strong time management

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

* Constantly required to walk and talk and hear
* Frequently required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
* Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
* Frequently exposed to moving mechanical equipment and fumes or airborne particles
* Frequently travel throughout the GDH sites
* Frequently weekend and/or overtime work, primarily at start-up or when taking on new business
