Job Title: Outside Sales Executive, Federal

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Executive to join our team at DSI Tech. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and increasing the DoD and Civilian federal market segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve sales targets
  • Proactively gain new business through professional networking and devising a creative, effective sales approach
  • Develop new market initiatives, assess new markets, and analyze business opportunities
  • Work with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospective and existing customers
  • Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Maintain confidentiality of all processed information
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in an Account Executive (hunter) role within the federal sector
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or equivalent relevant years of experience
  • Established contacts in the DOD and/or Civilian federal sector space
  • Prior experience selling under NASA SEWP, ESCIII, Air Force NETCENTS, GSA, and other GWAC federal contracts
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Government procurement processes and trends
  • Ability to understand and interpret the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Excellent writing, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to take initiative and perform independent initial problem solving
