Position Overview

Reports To: Vice President of Operations

Role Summary

Oversee the operational activities within the designated region, ensuring adherence to all organizational policies, legal requirements, and environmental standards while achieving quality and service objectives. This will be accomplished through the strategic management of resources, financial assets, equipment, technology, and, most importantly, personnel.

Key Responsibilities: The following duties are essential to the role:

  • Understand and comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Authorize all financial documentation, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate these to senior management to develop actionable plans.
  • Manage all personnel within the division for the specified region.
  • Enhance the sales team’s performance by attracting new clients while nurturing existing customer relationships.
  • Be available around the clock to address customer and supervisor inquiries.
  • Commit to executing all tasks and responsibilities with the utmost quality.
  • Familiarize oneself with all company policies and the job functions of all supervisory staff.
  • Uphold rigorous safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, hire, assess employee performance, train staff, and recommend promotions, transfers, or disciplinary actions.
  • Organize staff schedules and ensure accountability for their responsibilities, punctuality, and expense reporting.
  • Assess equipment needs and maintain inventory levels for supplies and sales.
  • Submit all reports punctually.
  • Prepare and design bids for services and products.
  • Carry out various other tasks as assigned by supervisors within safe and efficient parameters.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
  • Strong leadership and quality assurance capabilities.
  • Recognizes the significance of leading by example.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Works well with colleagues.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety and operational standards.
  • Adept at delegating tasks effectively.
  • Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of all company and industry-specific training.

Special Requirements:

  • Capability to manage high-priority projects safely and efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary Work
  • Light Duty: Lifting up to 20 pounds, with occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Medium Duty: Lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Heavy Work: Lifting up to 100 pounds, with occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.

Audio-Visual & Licensing Requirements:

  • Average vision and hearing capabilities.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and perceive depth.
  • Peripheral vision is necessary.

Daily Activities:

In an 8-hour workday, this position may involve:

  • Standing/Walking for 6-8 hours.
  • Sitting occasionally.
  • Driving occasionally.

Work Environment:

This role may involve exposure to:

  • Chemicals
  • Cold and damp conditions
  • Fumes and gases
  • Heat and humidity
  • Noise
  • Height-related tasks

Repetitive Motions:

  • Grasping and finger dexterity.
  • Pushing and pulling actions.
  • Foot movement and fine manipulation.

Maneuverability:

  • Frequent bending and squatting.
  • Occasional climbing, reaching, and twisting.

Driver Criteria:

This position may require driving; therefore, specific guidelines for insured drivers will apply.
