ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, the Facility Manager will oversee all aspects of the Cheyenne facility's operations, including:

  • Management of ferrous and non-ferrous departments
  • Supervision of staff, including recruitment, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Regular interaction with customers to maintain strong relationships
  • Assessment and pricing of scrap materials; processing payments as required
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, including ISO and OSHA regulations
  • Overseeing maintenance and replacement of equipment and facilities
  • Managing financial performance, including budgets and expenditures, to achieve targets for yard volume, profitability, and return on investment
  • Preparation and review of annual budgets and monthly operational reports
  • Operation of yard equipment and performing light maintenance tasks
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Preferred Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, management, accounting, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience, including supervisory roles
  • Exceptional communication skills to foster trust and collaboration across all organizational levels and with external partners
  • Willingness to travel to other facilities or client locations as necessary; valid driver's license required.
