Position Overview
We are seeking a Supply Chain Operations Manager to be a vital part of our mission for continuous improvement. Your effectiveness in this position will be evaluated based on your ability to lead a customer-focused team, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. You will bring proven expertise in supply chain management, strategic logistics, and operational execution. Your responsibilities will include developing inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics processes, as well as enhancing efficiencies with our distribution and manufacturing partners. You will report directly to the Vice President of Business Control.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with clients and manufacturing facilities to uphold our vision of excellence.
  • Implement enhancements and cost management strategies for our external logistics partners.
  • Optimize logistics operations to improve efficiency, speed, and information quality while minimizing transport and packaging expenses.
  • Act as our trade compliance representative; develop and maintain an effective Customs Clearance Process that adheres to all legal standards.
  • Document and uphold standard operating procedures, processes, and work instructions in line with international trade compliance regulations.
  • Strategically oversee inventory aging across regional and centralized warehouses, as well as third-party logistics facilities.
  • Manage inventory levels, collaborating with sales and marketing to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Develop key performance indicators for inventory management (replenishment, obsolete stock, etc.).
  • Proactively seek information on business-impacting activities to take necessary actions.
  • Coordinate with customer service teams to guarantee the accurate and timely flow of information regarding goods in transit.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the logistics process, including operational, administrative, and analytical aspects.
  • Strong knowledge of flow processes and systems within a manufacturing context.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Third-party Logistics (3PL) providers.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, flexibility, and reliability.
  • A balanced and adaptable approach, with the ability to foster strong relationships and motivate others.
  • A team-oriented professional who is self-motivated and proactive.
  • Logical, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
