BigIron is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Regional Sales Director to drive consignment sales growth and expand our customer base within assigned sales districts. This role is pivotal to our success, as it involves developing a passionate, dependable, and driven team capable of delivering consistent and outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Development: Supports District Managers in training and coaching Territory Managers and Independent Sales Representatives to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Financial Management: Ensures timely reporting of expenses and financial data, manages Profit and Loss (P&L) for the region, and creates a plan to achieve regional sales budget numbers.
- Sales Strategy: Develops and implements sales strategies to maximize profitability, establishes and evaluates personal sales goals, and ensures quality and timely listings by District Managers and their teams.
- Team Management: Recruits, trains, and manages a team of District Sales Managers to achieve revenue and sales goals, and develops and implements systems, procedures, and practices to ensure efficient sales operations.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred, or (5) plus years of related sales experience and/or training.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in equipment sales in agriculture, construction, or transportation, and ability to generate revenue.
- Market Knowledge: Knowledge of focus market participants within assigned region boundaries and customs and trends within assigned region.
- Leadership and Management: Experience in management and leading outside sales forces, ability to coach, lead, manage, instruct/train, and strong interviewing and hiring skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.
- Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel, with overnight stays, to support sales efforts and team management.
