Position Overview

Reports To: Vice President of Operations

Job Scope

Oversee the operational activities within the designated region, ensuring adherence to all corporate policies, as well as state and federal regulations, while meeting quality and service objectives. This will be accomplished through effective management of resources, financial assets, equipment, technology, and most importantly, personnel.

Key Responsibilities: The following duties are essential to the role:

  • Understand and adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Authorize all financial documentation, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and expenses.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and communicate these insights to senior management for strategic implementation.
  • Hold direct accountability for all staff within the division in the specified region.
  • Enhance the sales team’s performance by attracting new clients while nurturing existing customer relationships.
  • Be available around the clock to address concerns from customers and supervisors.
  • Commit to executing all tasks and assignments with the utmost quality.
  • Familiarize oneself with all company policies and the responsibilities of supervisory roles.
  • Uphold rigorous safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Human Resources to recruit, hire, assess employee performance, train staff, and recommend promotions, transfers, or disciplinary actions.
  • Schedule staff and ensure accountability for their responsibilities, punctuality, and expense reporting.
  • Assess equipment needs and maintain an inventory of supplies and sales stock.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and submit all reports promptly.
  • Prepare and design bids for services and products.
  • Carry out various other tasks as directed by supervisors within the safe and efficient scope of the role.

Qualifications:

Skills & Knowledge:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to quality.
  • Recognizes the significance of leading by example.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety and operational standards.
  • Adept at delegating tasks efficiently.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completion of all company and industry-specific training.

Special Considerations:

  • Ability to manage high-priority projects safely and efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work.
  • Light duty, with lifting of up to 20 pounds and frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Medium duty, with lifting of up to 50 pounds and frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Heavy work, with lifting of up to 100 pounds and frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more.

Audio-Visual & Licensing Requirements:

  • Average vision and hearing capabilities.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and perceive depth.
  • Peripheral vision is essential.

Daily Activities:

In an 8-hour workday, this position may involve:

  • Standing or walking for 6-8 hours.
  • Sitting occasionally.
  • Driving occasionally.

Work Environment:

This role may involve exposure to:

  • Chemicals.
  • Cold and damp conditions.
  • Fumes and gases.
  • Heat and humidity.
  • Noise.
  • Height.

Repetitive Actions:

  • Grasping and finger dexterity.
  • Pushing and pulling.
  • Foot movement and fine manipulation.

Maneuverability:

  • Frequent bending and squatting.
  • Occasional climbing, reaching, and twisting.

Driver Criteria:

This position may require driving, and individual exceptions may be considered based on specific guidelines.
