Reliability Engineer II - Electronics Specialist

As a Reliability Engineer II - Electronics Specialist, you will perform electrical circuit analyses to determine the suitability of electronic devices for space flight applications. You will engage with electrical engineers to acquire and analyze circuit applications for all product lines, establishing reliability processes to ensure designs meet requirements for lifetime mission success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct reliability analyses for Material and Failure review boards and investigate to determine the required reliability approach for the situation, considering cost, schedule, and resource support.
  • Establish and maintain electrical system reliability models using specialized software tools.
  • Communicate hardware reliability risks to the Mission Assurance Manager and Program Manager.
  • Participate in electrical design reviews, providing feedback on potential reliability concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in electrical component reliability and space radiation effects.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in circuit design or analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., electrical engineering, math, physics, etc.).
  • Direct experience performing at least one reliability analysis; parts stress analysis, failure mode and effects, worse case circuit analysis, signal integrity, mean time between failure, probability of success is required.
