Reliability Engineer II - Electronics Specialist

Blue Canyon Technologies, a leading small satellite manufacturer and mission services provider, is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer II - Electronics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our spacecraft components, particularly in the area of electronics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical circuit analyses to determine the suitability of electronic devices for space flight applications.
  • Engage with electrical engineers to acquire and analyze circuit applications for all product lines.
  • Establish reliability processes to ensure designs meet requirements for lifetime mission success.
  • Conduct reliability analyses for Material and Failure review boards and investigate to determine the required reliability approach for the situation, considering cost, schedule, and resource support.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in circuit design or analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., electrical engineering, math, physics, etc.).
  • Direct experience performing at least one reliability analysis; parts stress analysis, failure mode and effects, worse case circuit analysis, signal integrity, mean time between failure, probability of success is required.

Working Conditions:

This role operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
