About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer II to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software solutions for our medical devices.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate software change requests to released medical devices and supporting tools
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and test of software changes for released products while staying true to the original design integrity
  • Work with cross-functional teams to communicate changes and understand impacts to their function
  • Create documentation throughout the development process
  • Commit to achieving and exceeding project goals and timelines
  • Perform duties in compliance with the Quality System

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • OR Advanced Degree and 0 years of experience
  • 2+ years experience with C++/C
  • Knowledge of OOA&D concepts
  • Embedded programming experience
  • Working knowledge of software development best practices
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
  • Experience with Yocto Linux, Windows, and cloud platforms
  • Medical device experience
  • Experience in Linux driver development
  • Experience with Git, Bash, gnu tools
  • Experience with embedded graphics technologies
  • Html, css, react, and javascript experience
  • Bare metal programming
  • RFID Experience
