Field Engineer II

Blue Fin Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer II to join our Service Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing tasks assigned by the Lead Service Technician, Service Supervisor, Project Manager, or other Management. This role requires operational qualification, verification, and authorization for specific tasks. You may also lead limited scope projects in the absence of a Lead Service Technician or Supervisor, with prior approval from and under the direction of the Lead Service Technician or Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities- Perform field services within capacity as directed and in accordance with specific project work plan, procedures, and/or standard operating procedures.
- Report to Service Supervisors or lead shift when working in the field, and to District Manager when not working in the field.
- Mentor by Project Manager when not working in the field.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and participate in writing JSA's for job tasks assigned.
- Learn all field services work and equipment to gain skills/knowledge, and increase competency in Scopes of Work.
- Participate and comply with Blue Fin Services, LLC HSE and Quality Management System.
- Follow current work-hours policy for both shop and field, and comply with all company policies (Safety, quality, general, SOP's, etc).
- Be available 24-hour call (except for scheduled vacation), and able to perform demanding physical labor in hot/cold environments and offshore.
- Create drawings and professional deliverables, and manage small projects suitable to the level of skill sets.
- Valid Class 'D' Driver's License or greater, and drive to and from job site locations.
- Participate in training, monitor environment for unsafe conditions, and write Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist proposal creation, generate drawings for projects (Including API 14C compliance), and perform calculations as needed on jobs.
- Assist Project Manager in job planning and operation, and perform other duties assigned.
- Four-year accredited engineering degree.
- 1-3 years of experience.
- EIT preferred (ENGINEER IN TRAINING - The EIT License and Certification is a professional designation you receive after passing the NCEES FE exam (Fundamentals of Engineering exam) and completing a degree from an ABET-accredited school).
