Job Description

As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist at LanceSoft, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing quality standards and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Your duties will include devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.

You will also be responsible for designing or specifying inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment, conducting quality assurance tests, and performing statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

Additionally, you will ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.

This is a specialist career stream role, typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. You will deliver and/or manage projects assigned and work with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.

You may act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of other lower-level professionals. The majority of your time will be spent delivering and overseeing projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality standards and protocols

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of quality assurance and quality control
  • Experience in developing and implementing quality standards and protocols
  • Collaborative skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to design and specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment
  • Experience with quality assurance testing and statistical analysis
  • Ability to ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards
  • Ability to ensure documentation is compliant with requirements

Education and Experience:

  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in quality assurance and quality control
