Position Overview:
EIP is looking for a Finance Manager to enhance the expanding Finance team, which operates under the leadership of the CFO and Controller.

The Finance team plays a pivotal role in collaborating with the investment, operations, and investor relations teams, while maintaining direct communication with EIP's executive leadership.

This role will involve some travel.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with investment teams to ensure efficient deal execution, portfolio oversight, and management of funding/disbursements, while accurately recording and accounting for all related transactions.

2. Partner with investment teams to prepare and review quarterly valuations of portfolio companies, including in-depth analysis of complex capital structures and the application of valuation methodologies in compliance with ASC-820.

3. Oversee the preparation and review of annual and quarterly financial statements for credit funds, along with quarterly and monthly workbooks.

4. Manage relationships with Third Party Administrators engaged in credit fund operations (SBICs).

5. Ensure compliance with Small Business Administration regulations for SBIC funds.

6. Supervise and mentor direct reports and junior staff, fostering their professional development.

7. Actively manage fund liquidity and lines of credit, including forecasting, adherence to partnership agreements, and determining the timing of investor capital calls.

8. Analyze and compute investment and fund performance metrics, including returns and carried interest waterfalls.

9. Maintain and enhance controls, documentation, and record-keeping practices.

10. Assist in coordinating with fund service providers for auditing, tax, custodial services, valuation, and portfolio monitoring.

11. Conduct ad hoc analyses for senior management and undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:
1. 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

2. 2-3 years of experience in private credit is preferred.

3. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with outstanding academic performance.

4. CPA or CFA designation is preferred.

5. Proven ability to drive progress through collaboration across internal teams.

6. Management experience is preferred.

7. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

8. High ethical standards and integrity.

9. Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements in a growing organization.

10. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, learn rapidly, and communicate clearly.
