Accounting Manager - Fund Accounting, Private Equity, Real Estate / Competitive Salary / Bonus Structure / Hybrid Work Environment

About the Position:

We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations within the Real Estate and Investment Management sector. This is a permanent position that offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility to work both remotely and on-site. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing the company's accounting functions, focusing on fund accounting, asset management, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee the management of investor capital accounts, ensuring precise recording and reporting of all transactions.
  • Manage all aspects of fund accounting, including reconciliations, financial statements, and audit processes.
  • Handle foreign exchange transactions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial policies to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate financial strategies and provide insights based on financial analysis.
  • Monitor the company's assets, ensuring accurate valuation and accounting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax filings and reporting obligations.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting management role, ideally within the Mortgage sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in fund accounting, asset management, and investor capital account maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of foreign exchange transactions and financial closing processes.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership abilities with effective team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to present financial data clearly.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
