We are in search of a seasoned Land Acquisition Manager to oversee our operations in the East Gulf Region.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Practice Leader with significant accountability for the Land Acquisition and Real Estate initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue new client prospects; cultivate and strengthen business relationships; lead the team to secure new contracts and projects.
  • Engage with clients including transportation agencies, local governments, and utility providers.
  • Recruit and manage a team to fulfill workload demands and achieve company objectives.
  • Maintain direct communication with clients, providing regular updates and status reports.
  • Oversee program management to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Act as the project manager with autonomy over project-related tasks and serve as the primary client liaison.
  • Handle project management duties across multiple initiatives.
  • Coordinate estimating, scoping, and marketing strategies for upcoming projects.
  • Prepare agreements for engineering projects.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in Land Acquisition, both as an Agent and Supervisor.
  • Preferred certifications in TDOT Acquisition/Relocation.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven capability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Preferred certifications from IRWA such as RW, RWA, or SRWA.

  • Ability to effectively function in both leadership and support roles within project teams.
  • Skilled in listening to client needs and translating them into effective solutions.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and execute both verbal and written instructions.
  • Exhibit high-level self-management and organizational skills.
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and organizational skills.
