We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Liaison to support our growing program. The successful candidate will be part of our offsite program team, responsible for capturing, interpreting, and converting customer requirements into material and subcontractor requisitions.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer needs.
- Work with various vendors to ensure equipment purchased meets customer requirements, including compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform a wide range of tasks related to the acquisition of materials, merchandise, and subcontractors.
- Oversee and coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects and services as liaison between project management and planning, project teams, and customer management.
- Confirm material supply and demands and prepare purchase requests for the purchase of components or parts based on approved material tasks.
- Status work in progress, material availability, and potential delivery problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain DHS suitability
- Must have an active Secret clearance
- 5+ years of Supply Chain professional experience
- Experience working in supply chains systems (PRISM, ISAMS, etc.)
- Experience or familiarity with the following: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
- Experience and/or familiarity with associated government regulations
- Works independently on a multitude of assigned tasks
- Experience with Bill Of Materials, Supply Chain PROCESSES, or IT Equipment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience working in Excel. Microsoft Office proficient
- Strong team player
- Experience with associated government regulations required
- Experience with programs of similar scope and size is desired
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline is required or a total of 9 years of related experience may be substituted for a degree.
