Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Permanent Controller to manage our financial operations and guide our company's financial strategy. The ideal candidate will oversee budget management, financial analysis, and forecasting, ensuring the business operates effectively to achieve sustainable growth. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of the finance sector and a proactive approach to shaping the financial future of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise all accounting functions, including departmental oversight, budget preparation, financial reporting, and compliance with tax and audit requirements.
2. Lead financial strategy, planning, and forecasting efforts in collaboration with executive leadership.
3. Conduct detailed analyses to address ongoing or unique operational challenges.
4. Analyze long-term economic trends and assess their implications for future sales and market share growth.
5. Contribute to strategic decision-making as a member of the executive management team.
6. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, reports, and special analyses.
7. Develop and enforce finance, accounting, billing, and auditing protocols.
8. Establish and maintain robust internal control measures.
9. Collaborate with other managers to provide consultative support for planning initiatives through financial analyses and recommendations.
10. Ensure compliance with generally accepted auditing standards in record-keeping.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CMA certification preferred.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role.
3. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including GAAP.
4. Familiarity with automated financial reporting systems.
5. Understanding of federal and state financial regulations.
6. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports and projections.
7. Proven experience in strategic planning at the management level.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
10. Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
