Company Overview:
World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to oversee and facilitate various IT Department initiatives. This role emphasizes high-level reporting and strategic project management.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – On-site presence required 2 to 3 days a week.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and supporting diverse IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle, from initial planning and requirement analysis to execution, monitoring, documentation, and project closure. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers and service delivery managers, is essential to ensure successful project outcomes.
This position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional project management experiences. The successful candidate will report to the VP of the PMO, contributing to the overall project portfolio and PMO enhancement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with leadership to define project scope and deliverables that meet business objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, allocate resources, manage budgets, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships between business and technology teams to enhance client experiences on IT projects.
- Collaborate across IT and other departments to ensure effective project oversight.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and discuss solutions to meet their needs.
- Effectively communicate user requirements to IT teams, working together to design and implement project solutions.
- Create detailed roadmaps, project plans, and business requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness of solutions.
- Plan and manage projects by identifying tasks, timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
- Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain open communication with stakeholders.
- Utilize project management tools to keep projects on schedule and track progress.
- Lead regular project status meetings with stakeholders and project teams, ensuring active follow-ups on tasks.
- Ensure timely updates of project and operational tasks in relevant tools.
- Monitor metrics and usage reports to evaluate the effectiveness of information platforms.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in IT Project Management, particularly within the financial services sector.
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT security or infrastructure projects.
- Exceptional skills in PowerPoint and executive-level reporting.
- General knowledge of IT systems and networking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Familiarity with IT project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, SDLC, etc.).
- Experience in Financial or Technology Consulting industries is essential.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and teamwork abilities.
- Creative, enthusiastic, and analytical mindset with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt projects based on feedback.
- High level of accountability for delivering excellent project management outcomes.
