As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting and Registration: Greet patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner, register patients, and obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information.
  • Insurance and Documentation: Collect and log all co-pays and fees, ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation, and collect signatures.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule, reschedule or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments, and notify staff of changes when necessary.
  • Communication and Orientation: Provide patients with appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, give directions to facilities if needed, and coordinate with back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Skills: Intermediate to advanced computer skills, strong multitasking and communication skills, experience providing exceptional customer service, and medical terminology knowledge.
  • Experience: Recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.
