We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at CIBC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with high net worth individuals, family offices, endowments, and foundations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing relationships.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Investment and Wealth Specialists, and other sales professionals to achieve sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with existing channel relationships.
  • Identify areas for strategic relationship building and create opportunities for new alliances and formal networks.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and ensure a seamless and timely level of service delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or MBA, CFP, CFA, JD, CTFA, CPA.
  • 10+ years of experience in wealth management or a closely related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of investment strategy, trust administration, and wealth management solutions.
  • Highly dynamic sales professional with a successful track record of business development and relationship management experience.
  • Proven ability to effectively raise assets.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Proven ability to successfully market and present to sophisticated clients.
