Nuvance Health LPN Psych Unit Opportunity

**Job Summary:**
Nuvance Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on the Psych Unit. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care, adhering to established nursing models and scope of practice guidelines.
- Verify, prepare, and administer medications safely to assigned patients, following established protocols.
- Perform standard diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, phlebotomy, bladder scans, and glucose scans as necessary.
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients, ensuring evidence-based practices.
- Utilize Human Resource Optimization (HRO) principles in daily work, promoting efficient and effective care delivery.
- Maintain clinical competency, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
- Familiarize yourself with infection control practices, prioritizing patient safety.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, making informed decisions to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Certified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What We Offer:
Nuvance Health offers a competitive salary range of $68,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
