Medical Office LPN Float Team Professional

Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled Medical Office LPN Float Team Professional to join our team in Danbury, CT. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the physician or physician assistant in delivering primary medical services.
Job Summary
The Medical Office LPN Float Team Professional will assist with preparing patients for medical exams, obtaining vital signs and medical data, and providing direct patient care such as ear irrigation, vaccinations, and medications. Additionally, you will collect and prepare patient specimens, instruct patients on preventive care and medication management, and contact patients to provide follow-up information and test results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for medical exams and obtain vital signs and medical data
- Provide direct patient care including ear irrigation, vaccinations, and medications
- Collect and prepare patient specimens as directed by the physician or physician assistant
- Instruct patients on preventive care and medication management
- Contact patients to provide follow-up information and test results
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Valid LPN licensure in the state of Connecticut
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting
- Computer skills and data entry experience
- Vaccine administration and medication preparation experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical office setting
- Proficiency in multiple languages
- Phlebotomy and EKG experience
Salary Range: $22.25 - $41.32 per hour
Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, 8:00am-5:30pm
