About the Role

Cummings Electrical is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our growing Service department. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the project team by assisting the Project Manager in various functions, including evaluation, organization, and execution of project management assignments on electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support in all aspects of the business, from project pursuits to warranty and close-out documents.
  • Develop and maintain submittal logs, participate in subcontractor project orientation meetings, communicate and coordinate submittals and coordination drawings with subcontractors and the Superintendent.
  • Actively participate in subcontractor project orientation and project administration, coordination, and close-out.
  • Develop and sustain productive customer relationships while meeting the company's needs.
  • Participate in personal career development through on-the-job training, attend operations classroom training programs, and assist in the development of interns.
  • Set and maintain high standards of performance with responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments and tasks.
  • Proactively report progress and accomplishments of assignments and apply necessary follow-up to monitor progress and results of project tasks and assignments.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook Exchange.
  • Possess the technical skills and knowledge required to perform essential tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Apply an analytical approach to problem-solving and identifying potential solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with technical teams, cross-functional teams, and suppliers.
  • Be an effective team player who adds complementary skills and contributes valuable ideas, opinions, and feedback.
  • Use verbal and written skills effectively to ensure that information is successfully shared throughout the organization.
  • Have good math and problem-solving skills.
