ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Coordinator position serves as an entry-level opportunity within project management. In this capacity, you will engage in various phases of project design and execution, gaining valuable experience in project and client relations under the mentorship of senior management. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the execution of project-related tasks, including permitting and entitlement.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of project assignments.
  • Assisting with financial aspects of projects.
  • Contributing to the preparation of proposals.
  • Engaging in limited client interactions.
  • Assisting in the oversight of technical staff.
  • Coordinating resource scheduling for your team.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Familiarity with Civil 3D, Microstation, or relevant software.
  • Understanding of Dunaway's CAD and design standards.

SKILLS:

  • Comprehensive technical knowledge in the field.
  • Basic understanding of project financial metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Awareness of personal limitations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities.

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 5 years of total experience.
  • Typically, 5 or more years in civil design.
  • 1 or more years of experience as a P.E. or 8 years of relevant civil design experience without a degree.
  • 0-2 years of project management experience preferred.
  • 0-2 years of client interaction experience preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in supervising technical staff.

EDUCATION:

A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in civil design.
