Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly proficient and seasoned Senior Program Manager, possessing a robust background in finance and outstanding presentation skills. The successful candidate will oversee the governance and management of a varied portfolio of programs, spearheading strategic initiatives, and guaranteeing the effective execution of critical financial projects. This role demands a dynamic leader capable of synthesizing intricate financial data, crafting persuasive presentations, and communicating effectively with both business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance of Portfolio & Program Management: Supervise the management of a diverse program portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with governance standards.
  • Reporting & Communication: Generate and present detailed reports on program status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership. Develop and deliver clear, concise presentations that transform complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Strategic Facilitation: Conduct strategy sessions, guiding discussions that foster the development and execution of program strategies. Ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior executives, finance teams, and technical development teams. Cultivate strong relationships to promote collaboration and resolve issues.
  • Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with technical development teams and managers to comprehend project challenges, delve into issues, and ensure that technical solutions are in harmony with program objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and address risks and challenges within the portfolio, implementing corrective measures as necessary to maintain program timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 8-10 years in program management, particularly within financial services or finance-related initiatives.
  • A proven history of managing large, complex programs involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Skills:
  • Strong financial acumen, with the capability to synthesize financial information and present it effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with experience addressing C-level executives.
  • Robust leadership and facilitation abilities, with the capacity to steer strategy discussions and achieve consensus.
  • Proficient in interacting with both business and technical teams, bridging the gap between financial requirements and technical execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. An MBA or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Certifications:
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar program management certifications.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with treasury/banking systems and tools utilized in program management.
