About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Risk Management Specialist to join our Global Insurance team at Boston Consulting Group. As an Insurance Risk Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of our global insurance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insurance Program Management: Assist with the execution and administration of our global financial lines' insurance programs, ensuring they align with our overall objectives.
  • Risk Analysis and Management: Lead the collection and organization of annual exposure data from key stakeholders, facilitating effective risk analysis and strategic decision-making.
  • Insurance Expertise: Advise local office affiliates on their insurance requirements and potential coverage options, ensuring tailored solutions that align with global standards and local needs.
  • Contract Review: Conduct thorough reviews of contracts to ensure insurance requirements are properly addressed and comply with established policies and standards.
  • Education and Training: Actively engage in supporting education and training programs designed to elevate understanding and implementation of insurance best practices throughout the organization.
  • Knowledge Management: Refine and enhance the existing knowledge reference library for the global insurance team and key stakeholders, ensuring access to current and relevant insurance information, policies, and procedures.
  • Industry Trends and Regulatory Compliance: Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the insurance industry, evaluating and recommending innovative solutions to enhance our global insurance team's best practices.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in risk management and insurance, within a large corporate risk management department, insurance brokerage firm, or an insurance company, with global and international program experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Risk management designation/certification (CPCU/ARM) or working towards designation desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Risk Management Information Systems, specifically Origami, a plus.
